It’s that time again, a year to recap

We’ll end with a poem, and call it a wrap

So much in the news, some lows and some highs

A lot to discuss, so we’ll give it a try.

Trump re-elected, his last term they say

Or yet maybe not, if he had his way

Changes came swift, many of which hurried

Ask the Gulf of Mexico, who should have been worried.

Tariffs and trade wars, price increases of all sorts

But not American materials, just the imports

Markets were volatile, but avoided a rut

Inflation cooled down, and interest rates cut.

Weather at the forefront, for all to see

Floods in Texas, wildfires in Cali

But as the fire burned, and the water flowed

It tested our strength, and our resilience showed.

A ceasefire in Gaza, between Isreal and Hamas

While Ukraine and Russia, have suffered great loss

Pope Francis dies, no longer can ‘bless’

An American Pope named, Chicagoan no less.

AI Advancement, with cause for concern

Will jobs be lost, will money be earned?

But other advances, that brought folks some glee

One example of that, a pig gave a kidney.

Jeff Bezos wed, the ring delivered on time

Though maybe not, if it wasn’t on Prime

Kimmel suspended, and Colbert takes a walk

P-Diddy convicted, left to his cell block.

As holidays near, and the decade rolls on,

We toast to the days ahead, from dusk until dawn

From Maine’s rugged coast to Carolina’s bright shores,

We thank you—our clients—for the trust that endures.
