Job Summary:

The Operations Manager at Means Wealth plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of the firm’s operational processes and systems. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflows, and enhancing client and team satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented leader with a strong background in operational management within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and refine all operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor our Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all software and systems, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Collaborate with compliance officer to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Client Service Support: Partner with client-facing teams to deliver an exceptional client experience by resolving operational issues and implementing service improvements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support strategic decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, including custodians, IT providers, and other service partners, to maintain and improve operational capabilities.
  • Project Management: Lead and execute special projects aimed at enhancing the firm’s operational efficiency or service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in operations management, preferably within the financial services or wealth management sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial technology platforms, including Salesforce, Orion and/or Tamarac is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEC regulatory requirements is preferred.
