Paul B. Means Chairman

Paul joined his father at Means Wealth in 1972 and became President of the firm in 1981. Paul is a graduate of Bangor High School and the University of Maine Class of 1971. Paul has headed Means Wealth’s Investment Committee since 1981.

In 1973, Paul married the former Rachel Lancaster from West Enfield, Maine. Paul and Rachel currently reside in Bangor, Maine. They have three married children, David, Zachary, and Alexander. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, and spending time at his camp on Sebec Lake in Dover Foxcroft.

Paul is a current Board Member of the Bangor Y and a member of the Y Foundation. He also serves as Chair of the Investment Committee for the Bangor Y. In addition, Paul is the co-chair of the Bangor Y’s upcoming Capital Campaign. He is a member of the Bangor Mechanic Association. He also is a long-time member of Penobscot Associates, Inc., an investment club organized in 1957. He was a former Trustee of the United Methodist Church in Orono and a founding member of the Orono/Veazie Little League Association.
